Team Talk, produced entirely by CfJ undergrads, makes its KMTV debut

When we launched KMTV last year as a joint venture between the CfJ and the KM Group, we hoped that it would prove a fertile training ground for our students as they prepare for journalism careers.

And last night's airing of the first edition of sports magazine show Team Talk on KMTV is an indication of just how well this premise is working.

The show was entirely produced by CfJ undergraduates. Third year students Keilan Webster and Harry Peet came up with the idea for a weekly look at sport in Kent, and produced the show - under guidance from KMTV news editor Andy Richards - with assistance from second years  Bernie Botto, Michael Haffenden, Joe Brophy, Sean Hills, Tommaso Fiore and Phil Wellbrook.

Congratulations on a slick debut to all concerned. We're already looking forward to the second edition next Monday.

And I'm predicting it won't be the last student-produced show that makes it on to the KMTV schedule.
